Piaffe - Dressage Lifestyle focuses primarily on an online and mobile business model - our strength is that we come to YOU, our customer, to give you the best personalized service in the industry.
In 2018, equestrian entrepreneur and amateur dressage rider Mallory Haigh had a vision for a dressage-focused tack shop that was able to specialize in ways the big stores could not. She focused on quality brands that spoke to the needs of all levels of rider - professional or amateur - and saught out the best from Europe to North America to even Africa.
We started small and focused on the Ontario and Quebec market, but had big goals to expand beyond our regional reach.
In 2022, Piaffe Shoppe rebranded to Piaffe - Dressage Lifestyle to reflect four years of maturity and growth, and a shift in focus to a more unique stable of brands and products.
With this came the launch of our own product line - Altair Equestrian - dedicated to quality, affordable products for all sizes and shapes of horse and rider. Along with this, we also began working with new manufacturers to bring exciting and unique products to Canada, including Winderen, Mrs Ros, and Derby Boots.
We also began our international journey, expanding into the American market and also having our first orders head out to the Asia-Pacific regions. Piaffe has riders all over the world proud to be part of #TeamPiaffe!
Piaffe's roster of brands continues to grow, as the needs of North America's dressage horses and riders evolves and changes. We believe in the big initiatives of sustainability in our industry, and are also huge advocates and supporters of horse-friendly, ergonomically designed and research-backed products.
I'm the founder and CEO of Piaffe - Dressage Lifestyle, as well as an adult amateur dressage rider, farm owner, and full-time tech industry professional.
When I started Piaffe in 2018 as a passion project, I had no idea about the exciting adventure that lay ahead. From our small regional presence we've grown into a worldwide name, and have built incredible brand and rider partnerships that bring you some incredible equestrian products from around the world.
I am incredibly proud for Piaffe to have been represented on the national and international stage in major competitions such as major CDIs in Canada and the US, NAYC, the Pan American games, and the Olympics. I am equally proud to look around our regional competitions and see so many horses and riders riding in our brands!
Every item in Piaffe's catalog is something I've put to the test in my own riding and on my own horses. It's integral to me to be able to offer you the best service and advice possible, and the only way I know how to do this is to have intimate, hands-on knowledge of all our product lines! You'll always see myself and my horses at shows sporting a collection of gear from Piaffe - and of course, I'm always excited to share my experiences and recommendations with you.
