Finesse reins come in various types, colors, and buckles. These are perfect to complete your Finesse Bridle and give you that full Finesse look.

The different types of reins:

Biothane/Rubber: Very gentle on the hands. We recommend wearing gloves as the rubber can become slippery when wet, but this is not an issue when gloves are worn.
Only with stops: Suitable for horses that tend to pull the reins out of your hands, as the stops offer a better grip.
With Soft Covered Stops: Suitable for most horses, provides extra grip while maintaining a nice soft feel.
Weymouth: Narrower and made of pure leather without stops, designed for when using a double bridle.

Shipping Policy

Shipping is provided by preferred carries: UPS, Canpar, DHL, FedEx, Canada Post.
Orders will be dispatched as soon as possible; generally, this is within five business days from time of order.
Some products may be special order; often, we are able to still meet our five day fulfillment deadline. In the event it will take us longer to process your order, you will be notified as soon as possible!
Custom ordered products can take 6-8 weeks to be delivered to your doorstep.

Return Policy

Returns are permitted for unused, unwashed items in their original packaging with tags attached.
Refunds will be processed once the item is received back at our warehouse, within 15 days of purchase with a copy of the original email or physical receipt.
Sale, special order, custom, and clearance items are final sale, and not eligible for return or refund. Bits and helmets are not eligible for returns.
Wrong size? Want another colour? We are happy to provide an exchange within 15 days of purchase -- please note that return shipping on exchanged items is your expense. If you received the wrong item, or the item is defective and requires a return, Piaffe - Dressage Lifestyle will cover the shipping costs of getting the item back to our warehouse.
After 30 days, Piaffe - Dressage Lifestyle will only offer exchange or store credit for products; they must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached.

A study conducted by Stud.med.vet Katja Gabara, Emilie Gertz, and Dr. Adrian Harrison on 12 Icelandic horses demonstrated that all horses exhibited significantly more free movement throughout their bodies when wearing FinesseBridles® compared to standard bridles.

When working with a FinesseBridle®, horses do not suffer the same number of ‘pain-strikes’—defined as muscle overloads during work. The study examined not only the muscles associated with the neckpiece but also the myofascial lines that affect the horse’s overall movement from the base of the skull to the hindlimbs, specifically m.
